This one was extremely basic but helped with pictures and such. Even the boxs along the time and bottom helped as well. I’m not always savvy with these kinds of materials but I understood what Batchelder said. But sometimes, pieces click in place when you see it explained in a different manner.
I’m having problems finding something worth my while. Either they find a quick brush up on positioning or people having problems with it. I found a site, it didn’t load but I am going to put it up on here so later on I can look at it

Anyone else running into the problem?

That second page never loads for me either, must be something on their end.
We cross-referenced the same site (the one you cite above) and I agree that the visual method they use to demonstrate position properties is pretty helpful. However, I was able to find a few other sites that were just as helpful in explaining the concept both visually and definition-wise, which are linked in my post. One of these tutorials (“Ten Easy Steps to Learning CSS Positioning”) would be a resource I think you’d really benefit from.
Yes, I had trouble finding really useful resources, I didn’t look for a whole long time, but I thought I gave it a good try. There seems to be a lot of material on the basics of positioning, but I’m not sure what to search for to find more complex positioning tips.
The second link you listed didn’t load for me either, so maybe that site is down.
I think what I’m going to try to do is to use float positioning and maybe the other kinds only if I run into an odd situation.
