WEEK 4 ASSIGNMENT!
The two intros I chose this week were: (I wasn’t completely sure but I thought you said do one intro and the other one to find, I just did both combined)
The third one was the intro to weeds:
Weeds
House MD was pretty simple. I like how they did the 3D effects with the veins, chest and bones. The music was alittle subtle. It was well put together, things I felt were out of sequence was the scene with the water boats and sort of that building. The drawing of the spine could have been done in 3D like all the other body parts. I didn’t understand why the crew was presented in a foggy like scene. But for the most part, I liked it.
I didn’t know a thing about delicatessen so after seeing the intro I am still curious. The sephia tone was alright. I felt some suspense, but not really any. I like the tunnel and how they were able to fade out his sharpening and showing the other side where the guy was getting paranoid. I can’t say one way or another about liking the intro or not.
I’ve only watched the first season of weeds and I remembered the woman singing the song. I found out later that random people are singing this song. I chose this one because it was a repetition in the suburbs. The houses being built quickly, everyone driving the same car (even the main character herself has that same exact color and model) As the guy runs by in the park, an actor’s name appears. Guys going out of the grindhouse brew, women running in one corner and appearing in another. It was nothing fancy, just well coordinated repetition.

I was making one banner and decided to throw another one together because I wasn’t sure how my ideas were going to turn out.
The first banner I was thinking about doing the day cycling through. As pastries would transform as the day went on. Like doughnuts for morning and maybe a slice of cake or pie in the evening. I need to do a cel by cel for the transtition of the sky and my sun to flow more smoothly when it goes up and down.
The second banner was going for me to rain doughnuts and various kinds like a glazed, chocolate and strawberry frosted. Then maybe I was thinking about going for like a kid opening their mouth and a doughnut falls in. Or maybe a doughnut mountain, it’s hard to tell on what I want to do with this.
I know I haven’t done much with the size. It’s all really small for now.
